We’re pleased to share that LaSalle General Hospital, our partner in Jena, Louisiana, has been named the 2022 Outstanding Rural Health Organization of the Year by the Louisiana Rural Health Association. The award will be presented during the Louisiana Rural Health Summit on November 10.
LRHA’s Outstanding Rural Health Organization of the Year Award recognizes any community-based group or organization that has improved access to health services and information for rural people through innovative, comprehensive approaches. Factors considered include outreach, preventive health and education, quality and efficiency of care, and strong community support and involvement.
This designation is in large part due to the addiction treatment services LGH is able to provide through the New Vision service. LGH & SpecialCare have experienced a great partnership, and New Vision at LaSalle General Hospital celebrated its fifth anniversary earlier this year in July.
